Ludington is the home of the SS Badger car ferry which crosses Lake Michigan to Wisconsin. Take a short drive to White Pine Village and explore another piece of the past. Ludington's State Park is considered to be the premier Lake Michigan park, and in any season there is no better place to spend a day, whether you are hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, snoeshoeing, cross country skiing, or just plain relaxing. Make sure to bring your camera and enjoy the Sable River, beaches on Hamlin Lake, Lake Michigan, sand dunes, wooded paths, and a trek to the mighty Big Sable Lighthouse.
