West Shore Art League's Fine Arts and Crafts Fair - July 4th weekend
This historic port town will captivate you! Ludington Historic Bed &
Breakfast Association guests will enjoy the friendliness and charm offered
within the bed and breakfasts and the surrounding area. From the inns, take
a walk down tree lined avenues to the downtown shopping and art district,
dining and parks. The most beautiful beaches in Michigan beckon. The pier
is also close by with the North Pier Lighthouse, and is an ideal location
from which to view the setting sun.
Ludington is the home of the SS Badger car ferry which crosses Lake
Michigan to Wisconsin. Take a short drive to White Pine Village and explore
another piece of the past. Ludington's State Park is considered to be the
premier Lake Michigan park, and in any season there is no better place to
spend a day, whether you are hiking, biking, fishing, swimming,
snoeshoeing, cross country skiing, or just plain relaxing. Make sure to
bring your camera and enjoy the Sable River, beaches on Hamlin Lake, Lake
Michigan, sand dunes, wooded paths, and a trek to the mighty Big Sable
Lighthouse.
