Meet the Artists
Redux - playing at 7:30pm, Friday, May 3 at The Lamplighter.
The husband and wife duo of Lexi (vocals) and Dave (guitar) Kosla perform various hits from the 60's to today. Most of their songbook is on the mellow side, but the pair do rock-out a bit every once in awhile! Both Dave and Lexi are involved in other bands which allows them to play and sing a variety of genres.
It was during high school that Lexi realized her true musical passion was in vocal performance. During a show choir performance, Lexi first met Dave, and they finally performed as a duo in 2016 in a local talent night known as "Girls Rock"!
Dave's been playing guitar for 25 years in a variety of venues. He's written and recorded music for years, and has had pieces featured on the American Music Awards 8 different years! He currently teaches guitar and works at Instrumental Music & Sound here in Ludington.
Canopy Space - playing at 6:30pm, Saturday, May 4 at Ludington House.
Canopy Space is an Indie Folk duo featuring Rick Magrath and Annie Hudson-Gallie who perform original acoustic music and covers in various West Michigan venues. Passionate and energetic on stage, they bring a love of lyric and composition to their music. As English teachers, what began in 2009 as a fun way to add music to school events and decompress after a day of teaching, gradually evolved into friendship and collaboration. Their original compositions explore the ups and downs, hopes and dreams of being human.
Chris Wiser - playing at 8:30pm, Saturday, May 4 at Candlelite Inn B & B.
Chris has been composing original music and performing professionally as a vocalist and guitarist for over 20 years. While performing with Grand Rapids based bands Soul Syndicate and Two-Headed Sam, Chris has opened for GRAMMY Award nominee Bad Company, Blue Oyster Cult and The Storm, and has performed across Michigan at most of the state's largest music venues.
The musically talented Chris Wiser has been referred to as a human jukebox, and will happily accept your requests while playing Saturday evening!
